Serving Alcohol Until Midnight

Here at The Spotted Duck Tea Room we have a licence to serve alcohol until midnight and are proud to serve beers from the Great Newsome Brewery.

From blonde and golden to dark and stout, Great Newsome Brewery’s beers are deeply satisfying and easy to drink. Produced at their farm brewery which was set up in 2007, they remain faithful to the local markets. They keep alive the traditions of the East Yorkshire countryside where their family has farmed for four generations and their homegrown malting barley thrives in the rich Holderness soil. Add the choicest whole hops, their own distinctive strain of yeast and good Yorkshire water, and the result is some wonderful brews.

First time I had been after finding out about it from a discussion in a local salon. I wasn’t disappointed. The venue was easy to find, the staff were really lovely and there was a great selection of hot and cold foods on offer. The cakes not only looked fabulous but the lemon cake was scrumptious. Will definitely be back soon.

Had a wonderful festive afternoon tea. Everybody loved it and it was made special for my aunt’s birthday. Loved the friendliness of the staff and their efficiency – nothing was too much. We all went away happy and full.

Our first time at the Spotted Duck for afternoon tea and it certainly won’t be our last. Staff are very friendly and the afternoon tea very tasty with home made scones and cakes. Tea and coffee refilled when needed. I will be recommending here to family and friends and would like to try menu for lunch on our next return. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
